Well, it has finally happened, my little man has somehow managed to go from an infant to a six year old! I don't know where the time has gone. It has been full of love and big laughs, with a bit of time outs, for us both! Griffin has matured into a great little guy. He is very helpful and will help me bring in the groceries and trash cans. He looks out for his little sister and his dog Bruzer. He has a very tender heart and will stop and help another kid that has fallen and make sure they are okay. We cannot imagine our family without him. The thing I love the most about him is how he will just out of the blue tell me "I love you mom" or "goodnight sweetheart". He also loves to buy me jewerly and pick me flowers. He is going to be quite a lady killer with thoses skills.

We had his birthday party at Pirate Island Pizza with 13 of his friends and his sister. I had 3 girlfriends that braved the party with me and helped. Thanks so much Sandy, Ralynne and Ria! You gals are awesome, I couldn't have done it without you all. The kids had a great time and loved playing the games and picking out prizes. The boys loved the cannons firing off the pirate ship and fired back with pretend ones.

Griffin thank you so much for being you. We are looking forward to the many many many years ahead of us as a family. Happy 6th birthday little man! We are very proud of you and love you very much! Mom, Dad and Savvy.

Merry Christmas! I think that this picture speaks for itself really. Savanna was not into talking much less taking a picture with Santa. Griffin on the other hand took full advantage and quickly went over his long wish list in detail with Santa. Mom on the otherhand was thrilled to not have to be in the picture this year. I learned after the first year when I got caught not looking my best but Savanna would not go into the picture except on my lap. So for the past 3 years I would get ready for the picture too, just in case. This year, I just looked nice on the side and I was thrilled. Hope all of your holidays are filled with fun memories and love.

We had such a nice Thanksgiving this year. We headed up to Salt Lake to my sister-in-law's house where she hosted for 30 of us. The kids got to see their cousins and had so much fun spending time with them. They played hide-n-seek and watched movies together and just had fun. This was the first year I think that they really appreciated getting to see their cousins. Greg's sister's family and his brother's family were there, his parents and our family and his brother-in-law Robert's brother George's family plus some extra friends. It was great and chaotic and the food was awesome as always. Griffin ate so much turkey and made me promise to make one when we got home. Savanna just had mac n cheese, not ready for turkey yet, I guess. Savanna loved playing with her cousin's turtles and another cousin's new puppy. My kids love animals so much, I wonder who they got that from? I hope everyone enjoyed the holiday as much as we did. We are very fortunate to be able to live close enough to family that we can drive and be together for the holidays. Now we are are Santa watch. HO HO HO!

Yeah, a Halloween post finally! I got it up before Christmas, not bad. We had so much fun and so many parties for Halloween. We had school parties, church trunck or treat and then trick or treating in our neighborhood. Greg decided he would rather take the kids out than to stay home and pass out candy. He also thought it would be a good idea to take Bruzer along for this. Then he went to our neighbor's house who asked him to also take her 2 girls along with them as her husband was out of town. Needless to say, if you know Greg, multi-tasking with kids (especially a lot of kids) plus one dog by himself, is not good. When Greg got home, he looked like he was coming home from war and when I saw he had 2 extra kids, I just started laughing. All he wanted to do at that point was go in the back and watch t.v. and relax. So the kids, bruzer and I finished handing out candy. Which, I think the kids like passing out candy even more than going to get it. Anyway, now I need to post Thanksgiving! I am off!

Say CHEESE! Okay, these are not my best pictures, but I was going for an up close look at my new straight teeth! I got my braces off on September 10th. I just now got time to show everyone my new teeth. Those that knew me with my very crooked bottom teeth, will now see me smile with confidence. The braces were worth it and I only had them on for 16 months! I was so lucky! And no headgear or neon rubber bands! Now I just need to whiten these babies up a bit.

Savvy Lou's Birthday! The big 4! We started off with going to school and passing out birthday treats for all of the kids in her classs. Then we had a family party at the house with just Greg, me, Griffin and her and gave her all of the family gifts, including the ones from the grandparents. Then we had her officially birthday party at The Bear Mill (like Build a Bear). They had so much fun. They played duck duck goose, did the Limbo, had a pinata, then built their animal and had cake. It was a great time and I didn't have to clean up. My girlfrends Heidi and Sandi stayed and helped me and they was awesome! Also, my friend Ria came and hung out and took pics for me. Now I am getting ready for bunco at my house next Friday. Then Greg will be competing in the World Long Drive event again this year the week of the 20th thru the 25th. Wish us luck, it is a lot of money in the pot this year and mama needs a new pair of shoes! Ha ha ha! And then Halloween! Stayed tuned for some haunting photos! More than likely Greg on sugar!

It's Soccer Time! Well, we finally made it this year. Every year since we have lived here I miss signing Griffin up for soccer because we are out in California. Well, not this year thanks to my friend Jill Hardman! She called us while we were in California and reminded me. She got me all of the info and we got signed up at the last minute! We love it too! I am officially a soccer mom (without the minivan). We are on a team with other boys in our neighborhood, practice right down the street at our new local park once a week and play one game on Saturdays. And we lucked out, we do not have any early games, and if you know me and the kids, you know we do not get up early. So later morning games are great for us. Again, a shout out to Jill, thank you so much for remembering us! We really appreciate it more than you know.
